(The Chainsmokers - Paris)

As it's Rae's favourite location, we're featuring some shots from our team trips to Paris. Written and shot by Rae Martins and assistant photographer Poppy Gregson in Paris. Taken in July with all models being Blur. staff.

1. Museum Chills

This statue was found as you come outside the Musée de l'Orangerie. We found chairs to perch on and enjoy the 40 degrees weather, this simple statue added a touch of romance to the view and area in general - who would want to leave!

2. We Stan the Metro

We took this as we left the Metro in the central Paris area, different from the London tubes *cough* Central Line *cough* the Metro has a normal room temperature and wasn't obscenely packed - at least when we got it!

3. Views from Montparnasse

We took a visit to the Montparnasse Tower, as we knew we wanted to see the view but we wanted to see the Eiffel Tower in the view too! Looking from Montparnasse instead of Eiffel Tower gives you the view including the world-famous Eiffel Tower - life hack.

4. Louis Vuitton, Duh!

We HAD to go on a luxury fashion trip, as of course, we had to go to the iconic Louis Vuitton store. With views for days from the top floor luggage department, we never wanted to leave!

5. Halfway There

Halfway between the Lourve and Tuileries Gardens, we found this beige-coloured-gravel paradise! The perfect place to stop for water and lunch.

6. Yves Saint Laurant, Hunny!

Stopping for selfies outside shops that match your outfit is an ultimate necessity! Our pro-tip from Paris was to wear neutral tones, or crazy prints so we could fit in with all the cute backgrounds!

7. Channel (No. 5)

Just kidding, it's number 7...see what we did there? An all-time favourite display from our trip had to be the coffee and gold-toned Chanel window display. Our favourite pass time in a city is to find cute visual merchandising - have any fun windows you want to share with us? Get in contact via our homepage!

8. Less is More

A classic street view from the Republiqúe area of Paris sometimes less is more in the idea that you don't need a fancy backdrop to enjoy another cities simplicities and daily life.

9. WE LOVE THE METRO

Another shot from one of our Metro journeys, if you squint hard enough you can even spot assistant photographer Poppy.

10. Tuileries Gardens

Whether you want to walk through the Tuileries Gardens or enjoy the view from above - you will not be disappointed in the elegant sights the gardens have to offer. A much less touristy must-see when you visit Paris!

11. Street Art

Viewing street art in another city is just as important as viewing their museums, it gives you a much more 360 idea of the Parisian culture and art. This shot was taken on the walk from the Metro to La Villette Park on a closeby train line.

12. Architecture Goals

This style of architecture is what we think sets apart Paris from London; you can see the inspiration both cities have on each other but this unique style of the building is a real favourite of ours from Paris.

13. Two Girls Chilling in a Museum, Two Feet Apart...

We know Vine is dead, but we just couldn't help the reference. Anyway, this Pinterest style photo captures our creative interns entranced by the art in Musée de l'Orangerie - despite not being as famous as the Monet paintings, the other art in this museum was just as interesting and 100% worth a visit.

14. Claude Monet's Water Lilies

These are our favourite French Impressionist paintings, and a massive staple in Parisian culture too. The different strokes and colour palette make for such an intricate and delicate design - displayed in Musée de l'Orangerie, this is a must-see while you're in Paris!

15. These Boots Are Made for Walking

Some of our favourite heeled boots from the Louis Vuitton top floor, the fourth print with the floral are especially cute!

16. Louvre Pyramid

A classic Paris tourist attraction and photo location - the Louvre Pyramid. With the sun beaming off the surfaces and being surrounding by stunning beige-toned architecture, we could stay here forever.

17. Locals

Catch this snap of some local children cooling off in an exploding fire hydrant - for more authentic Parisian views leave the city centre and interact with the locals to find the best spots. Taken in La Villette.

18. Crimée

On the Metro back towards the city centre, we stopped at Crimée station which looks like the English word for crime - on this trip our photography team also started to play with reflections in photography, which is why we were playing around with this image.

19. More Architecture

Have a photo of some more Parisian architecture, but this time there's SCOOTERS. Scooters, Vespas or whatever you want to call them are a giant staple in Parisian culture, we wanted to make sure to include them somewhere in this photo series!

20. We Know, We're Basic

Although a Paris classic, we were cautious not to overdo it with the Eiffel Tower talk (trust me, we took many more photos of it though). We already knew about the Eiffel Tower and had seen many photos of it which is why it was so important to us to discover the more low-key Paris locations that we weren't already exposed to. We did see the Tower from many different angles and some advice we have for those who are yet to go is = view the tower from far away; the more up close to get, the harder it is to see and the more touristy, busy and expensive the areas get - not to mention the scammers! Viewing this sight from far away allows you to see the whole thing and many other cute aspects of Paris surrounding it - this view was from outside Palais de Tokyo!

21. DSQUARED

Last but not least, these incredible boots we saw in DSQUARED (they also say icon, which is very fitting)! This was one of our top 3 designer stores from Paris, and a perfect place to have a seat and a breather - as you can see our CEO and Editor Rae clearly needed it!
