Often I feel beauty is reserved for each end of the spectrum, the young and the old, noting unique identities in both the youth and the OAPs too. After moving my focus from youth culture to the old and wise, I wanted to focus on a project new project, somewhat inspired by Tim Walker's Granny Alphabet; exploring fashion, movement, lifestyle, architecture and belongings of a late generation.

Like a grandad to myself, the passing of family-friend Stuart Dobinson gave space to remember, appreciate and explore elderly life among the ageing Eastbourne population, focusing back on Stuart specifically, with his unique 1970s Eastbournian home.
