The boss man herself, see our editor, Rae Martins, photographed wearing Pretty Little Thing jeans, layered tops by Urban Outfitters, vintage leather jacket by Real Leather, glasses by Topshop and shoes by Dr Martens x ASOS / vintage Burberry blazer, Collusion Studio's vest, Pretty Little Thing jeans and hair clips by ASOS.

Rae shot by Molly Hession on Charlotte Street / shot by Poppy Gregson on a Victoria Line London Tube. Written, styled and directed by Rae. Shot on a Canon SureShot 35mm 400.

Shot by Molly.

Charlotte Street shows London's take on New York, with the New York aesthetic of ICCO Pizza and the uniform architecture of the buildings in the background juxtaposed with traditional London settings, like the Borris bus. Using dark, grunge-themed clothing, especially the heavy New-York-inspired puff-sleeve leather jacket, and the aesthetic of the film photography to give off a retro vibe to the shoot; a girl among city chaos but the plot twist is, she isn't a damsel in a dress or distress, she doesn't fit in with your business formal and this city is hers.

Shot by Poppy.

Business formal, but make it androgynous. Dark and neutral colours only, using long braids and hair clips to oppose the traditionally male Burberry check blazer with shoulder pads, and racer style vest to create a bound chest look. Using the tube location to mimic the typical working male commuter, and to shed light on the lack of both females and femininity in business roles as well as the gender pay gap still thriving in London. How do we still have a gender pay gap when gender means nothing?

Both shoots use very London and city-specific locations, and a touch of androgyny through fashion to help Blur The Lines. Expression through fashion helps us to find our most authentic self, and discover a precise identity; wear what makes you feel good, and look banging while doing so.

"Just because you're pretty doesn't mean you have to smile in photos, we're not pretty little girls anymore. Look sickening and scowl for the camera." - Rae
