Inspired by many, watch Blur. display this latest image series 'Fields of Wheat'. Written, shot and styled by Rae on Canon SureShot 35mm 400. Modelled by Poppy Gregson and Joao Camacho wearing thrifted St Michaels suit, Doc Martens Jadons, Zara vest, Daisy Street trousers and Nike TNs.

These unprecedented times may seem like one giant fever dream, but we've loved drifting away into this newfound, dream-like world. And what is more dreamy than the rise of the Cottagecore trend? With the series being set in fields among South East England we take creative inspiration from Cottagecore through the green field settings and floral touches. The pandemic not only making us feel surreal but also showing us the nightmare which is the blatant harsh realities of a Tory government leadership, hence the nod to May through the series title, being another reference point. Also looking to the Jacquemus L'Amour SS21 show, which was live-streamed through the lockdown period, acknowledging again the loose references to fields of wheat and naturistic direction.

Our aim being to take nature and use it to showcase high fashion looks on a realistic budget, using garments both thrifted and found on the high street. This serves as a parody and juxtaposition of high-end inspirations and references, yet budget fashion. With current political leaning not working in the favour of the working-class population, we felt it was an important and relevant series to bring you. Displaying both political and social feel through fashion identity, expression and influences; and of course, we're being genderless while we're doing it. Fashion trend is not exclusively for the rich, and a high fashion concept should be accessible for all fashion-lovers. Though affordable, our wardrobes giving us rags to riches, or should we say, from fields of wheat to fields of florals.

See Poppy Gregson and Joao Camacho model as part of the joint series 'Fields of Wheat'. And with that, Blur. will see you next Tuesday.
