Following the release of the Jacquemus x Joe Cruz collaboration imagery for L'année 97, we were inspired to experiment with a similar medium. This backstage series documented the close-up details of the collection and provided something new and interesting. After a couple of quick, household trial shoots we finally got the hang of scanner photography; playing with both lightness and darkness, and focus and blur to achieve imperfections irregular of modern-day photography - something fresh.
