Catch Shereen Khan and Nuno Costa featuring in Blur.'s "You & Me". Paying homage to the Young Emperors is routine at this point, but we're beyond obsessed; enjoy this shoot inspired by Instagram's most iconic matching couple and a Blur. personal favourite. The couple. Two creatives. Two outfits. Pretty much double the fun. 'You & Me' delved into, and took inspiration from, the world of Nelson Tiberghien and Isabelle Chaput (@young_emperors), who have been previously written about by Blur.

Shereen and Nuno came to life with an Autumnal-toned wardrobe giving new meaning to the phrase 'mix-match'; using print, colour and texture, the couple shadowed the Young Emperors signature matching fashion trend, while reflecting high-end styling choices and aesthetic. With the pair wearing all high-street fashion, it shows us that we don't need to shop for status, with luxury being extremely inaccessible it's completely possible to achieve the high-end aesthetic with a more realistic budget. The outfits also resonated with us at Blur. as they lacked gender stereotypes. Nuno and Shereen both sported garments from the women's section, styled in a more masculine fashion, continuing to bring us back to our roots of Blurring The Lines.

The Young Emperors retro aesthetic also resonated with our costal town roots, presenting inspiration within our own old, British seaside. The seafront scene allowed us to capture the retro vibe within the beach, rails and ice cream huts which felt reflective of the Young Emperors period fashion; shooting at night gave the shoot an additional level by providing an empty, abandoned setting allowing us to capture both cold and intimate moments within the shoot.
