Lockdown Birthday

Having celebrated a 21st birthday during the Covid-period, we must admit it has been our favourite birthday to date. The lack of normality allowed for less pressure to celebrate and, all round, lower expectations, but this couldn't be more off from how the occasion truly felt. The ability to be surrounded by your bubble, in your own home (and spending less money while doing so) allowed for a simple, but perfect celebration.

Now, don't get us wrong, we miss the freedom of life pre-lockdown, but going forward we will definitely be requesting a lockdown birthday again - or at least just a birthday-from-bed!
