New year, new faces - the Dazed publication recently welcome two new members to their management team just days after the beginning of 2021. We see Ib Kamara take over as new Editor-in-Chief, formerly Stylist and Senior Fashion Editor of i-D Magazine, and Lynette Nylander named as new Executive Editorial Director, formerly Deputy Editor of i-D.

Both have achieved so much, with mile-long resumes and a plethora of experience under their belts, serving as a true inspiration for many in the fashion industry. This change is also doubly inspiring, as successful Black people in managerial positions, showing commitment to diversifying the workplace and high-power job roles, allowing for representation of both Black, and wider POC in fashion. While gaining these positions is an achievement in itself, in the conversation of EDI, it's so much more than that - truly inspiring and giving hope for a positive direction in the future of the fashion industry.

We can't wait to see what Kamara and Nylander produce for Dazed, with their first issue launching later this year in May 2021. What are your favourite past projects from the duo? Let us know via Instagram (@blur_mag), keep an eye out, and if we don't see you before we'll see you next Tuesday!
