Blumarine, the Italian fashion brand recently under new creative direction by Nicola Brognano, released their SS22 Resort collection, capturing the attention of the provocative and it-girl youth and creating waves through the social media scene. The collection consists of garments benefitting from the hyper-feminine Y2K trend, with a likeness to the Euphoria series and grunge-fairy style - a true culmination of internet-driven trend over the Summer months. With Barbie pinks, light greens, muted yellows and neutral browns, the collection sets the tone for Summer inspiration and styling, feeding trend through the more accessible re-commerce market, as well as mirroring the slightly more affordable I Am Gia brand or House of Sunny, among other popular fashion houses highlighted this season.
