This Summer we're throwing it back to the 20th century with fashion, beauty and colour trend; fashion has been heavily inspired by the New York Hip-Hop scene of the 1980-90s, featuring a mix of oversized street silhouettes and a love for branded sports gear. This is coupled with yet another push from the Y2K trend, this time seeing interest in fashionable tackiness through promiscuity and rebellion in a more hyper-feminine way; seeing also, a relatability to the 1970s aesthetic through fashion accessories, art and interior. Lastly, noting make-up reminiscent of the 1920s with glamour brows, 1960s Twiggy lashes, 1980s shadow styles and glossy, lined supermodel lips of the 1990s.
