We aren't shy to a cheeky beverage here at Blur. Join us on our drinking travels as we explore and share our favourite bars in London and why! All models are staff, shot and written by Rae Martins.
1. Be At One - Greek Street
From cute photo backgrounds, aesthetically pleasing bathrooms and a massive selection of pretty (and tasty) cocktails, Be At One is always our first choice - not to mention 241 happy hour! There's a Be At One on every corner, and our second favourite location HAS to be Brighton!
2. Simmons - Oxford Street
Simmons takes retro vibes to a whole new level with their teacup accessories and fun-fair furniture. There's also a variety of old school games and ornaments lying around, like a console playing the Crash Bandicoot menu screen, as well as Fresh Prince of Bell Air playing at all times on TV screens. We love this bar, but have found that the interior isn't the same in each location which is why we stick to Oxford Street - but the Darth Vader disco ball in the Bateman Street location is also very cool! (Their happy hour is another blessing, lasting until 8 pm this bar is student approved!).
3. Bar Soho
Bar Soho also has some fun-fair seating, like Simmon's Bar, but it also has a lot of other fun quirks. Bar Soho offers very unique cocktails that go down to HALF PRICE in happy hour which lasts a whopping 3 pm-8 pm every day (that averages out at around £4.50 a cocktail)! Budget-friendly for students and locals working nearby, and 100% the cheapest cocktail bar in Soho!
4. Monty's Bar - Shoreditch
Monty's Bar is a little tucked away bar in Shoreditch, making the most exquisite and well-sized cocktails that only cost you £12 for 2 in happy hour; full of creative minds and perfect for your typical art student!
5. Murder Inc London
Murder Inc is a bar hidden in an alley off of Tottenham Court Road, with many quirks making the bar feel both individual and almost luxury. Danny Devito greets you, and you'll find quotes and photos to represent different celebrities that are on the more risque side to replicate Hell, like Charlie Sheen. The drinks are good, but a little more expensive on average than the other bars however, the table service and complimentary waters and toffees make the extra few pounds worth it.
