The Regency era was a time in British Georgian history, from 1811-20, when George IV took King George III's place as proxy ruler. During this period fashion thrived, with a feminine extravagance and overall society le bon ton. Its beauty and elegance still provoking coverage within modern books and cinema, with the recent Netflix favourite, Bridgerton, set in this same period. Recent trends from Covid Summer 2020 also align with this style, potentially forecast to make a come back, with escapism, cottagecore and New Romantics influence bringing us back to the fashions of Regency - and we're not mad about it!
